Bible Class - 1 Timothy Part 5

In Sunday morning’s Bible class, Jeromy Tuck guided the congregation through 1 Timothy 2:1–10, emphasizing the power of prayer, God’s universal desire for salvation, the example of Christ as mediator, and the call to live peaceful, holy lives. Jeromy encouraged believers to adopt a “think souls” mindset, centering every interaction on the eternal value of others. He reminded us that prayer, unity, and modesty are not only pleasing to God but also tools to reflect His heart to the world.

Special focus was given to God’s desire that “all people be saved and come to a knowledge of the truth” (v. 4), and how Christ paid a ransom for all. The class also explored the biblical understanding of modesty, not just as avoiding provocative dress, but as an attitude of humility, simplicity, and sincerity—especially in how we present ourselves and treat others.
