On Sunday morning, April 20, 2024, guest speaker Roy Knight from Arise Shine India Ministries delivered a stirring Bible class highlighting the ongoing efforts and challenges faced by the Church of Christ in India. With a focus on fulfilling Christ’s Great Commission, their mission is clear: to make disciples. Despite persecution and poverty, the ministry is actively working to meet both the spiritual and physical needs of communities across India. From feeding the hungry and providing clean water to sheltering orphans and widows, Roy Knight shared how God’s love is being demonstrated through tangible acts of service. He also emphasized projects like medical outreach, prison evangelism, and an ambitious plan to build church buildings in 100 villages. The session was both eye-opening and inspiring, calling attendees to support and pray for the growth of the church in India.
